Mandelieu has been celebrating mimosa since 1931!

For 95 years, Mandelieu has celebrated the mimosa, notably through the Mimosa Festival, which every February offers residents and visitors a festive, popular and joyful program consisting of a parade, a corso, entertainment, mimosa distributions, a grand banquet, fireworks, concerts, a children's carnival... A celebration shared for 5 days throughout the entire city: from Capitou, the historic district of the mimosa growers, to the Place de France, to the seafront which hosts, opposite the spectacular Château de La Napoule; finally, on Sunday afternoon: the unmissable flower corso - whose floats are dotted with mimosa by some 450 volunteers.

Some figures
The Mimosa Festival in Mandelieu traditionally involves: 8 tons of mimosa, 400 artists, 450 volunteers, and 40,000 people who come together during these 5 days of festivities.
